2 month old day nap routine?

So I need to get my son to nap in the crib or bassinet during the day so I can get things done around the house. I’ve tried the carrier as well but he just ends up waking up from the noise. What are your tips to being able to put your little one down during the day?

Following! Baby girl refuses to nap anywhere but in someone's arms. The second we try to put her down no matter where it is, she wakes up!

My daughter sleeps almost every nap in her bassinet with white noise and her halo swaddle. She usually sleeps anywhere from 30 mins - 1 hr at a time. I've just always put her there for naps. Sometimes she sleeps in our arms or her boppy pillow but not often.

The only way I have my girl doing a couple naps a day in her crib is making sure it’s the first and second naps of the day because it’s hard as the afternoon goes on and she has a baby lounger (snuggle me organic) that I put her in, and she also wears her arms up swaddle. With a video monitor. She’ll nap anywhere from 30mins to 2hrs like that. The timing is inconsistent, but it’s so nice to have hands free, especially with our four year old at home too. Oh also, we have black out curtains and white noise for her. And I let her fuss a tiny bit, if she gets pretty upset, I pick her up, snuggle and away with her a bit and then put her back down and try again

So, this is unsafe baby sleeping practice and i’m not advising you to do this but my twin boys will take a solid 2hrs sometimes 3hr nap in their swings. I check in on them every 20 minutes or so. It’s the only place they will nap like that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I guess the only thing I figured out that works for us, is after our walks, when we get home I leave her in her car seat for another 10-15 minutes, atleast I can get 1 thing done.

Fed, burped, playtime, diaper change, swaddle, white noise, dark room.
If she isn’t going down easily I will bring her back out of the nursery and give her the option to be awake and hang out with me and her brother.  Usually she doesn’t want to and is falling asleep sitting up so I will go back in her room and try again.
She will sleep anywhere from 20 mins to 2 hours.  Short naps are normal at this age!
Just keep doing the routine and they will eventually get the hang of it.

We don’t have a schedule but when he naps he naps swaddled in his crib with lights off and sound machine on. He also naps in his swing or just laying next to me on the couch while I fold laundry or something. I just always put him down for a nap in different places since he was born and now he will kind of just sleep anywhere. But I also think I lucked out with a baby who loves his sleep no matter where he is.

Idk if this will help but what i do is feed the baby until full then swaddle him ,rock him until fully asleep meaning he not moving anymore or making noises , then i put him in

At 2 months my twins also liked sleeping on their stomachs. I put breathable (muslin sheet)blanket on the mattress and watch the monitor like a hawk lol. They are now 15 weeks and still sleeps in their stomachs. It also helps with gripe.
