Brown discharge at 8 weeks and 5 days

Hello, I am currently pregnant with my first baby and I haven’t seen my doctor yet, they have cancelled my appointment twice. I went to a place at 5 weeks to confirm pregnancy and had an ultrasound, we heard baby’s heart and everything looked good. However, today my husband and I had sex for the first time since we find out we were pregnant and I got some bad spotting. Is it normal? Thank you so much for your help
