Breastfeeding vs pumping vs formula

With my first I breastfed and pumped. I was so miserable I hated it. I over produced so much because I did both. I pumped so I could go back to work but I only went back part time so I never pumped at work. My daughter never had a problem taking a bottle because I started pumping maybe two weeks after she was born. I switched to formula about 4 months. With my second coming in April idk what I want to do. I’m going to be going back full time and I don’t want to have to pump a lot at work. I was thinking exclusively pumping then supplementing formula once I go back to work so I’m not over producing. How does it work with exclusively pumping. So I not latch the new baby in the hospital to get the colostrum? Do I start pumping right away? I have no idea how it works. I don’t mind having to latch but my fear is he/she (not sure what it is yet) not wanting to take a bottle as easily as my daughter did. What did you do?
