Moving In w/ my BF

Hello (:

So, I’m 22 years old & will be dating my BF for a full 1 year in March of 2021. I am still living at home as I am finishing my last semester in college right now & hope to get a job by January of 2021. He has his own apt & full-time job (he’s 22 as well).

His family asks about when I’m moving in with him all the time. My family, on the other hand, are very religious & strict which means moving in with someone after 1 year of dating isn’t “normal” to them... especially for a 22 year old.

Pretty much just looking for advice or someone to talk to. Maybe someone out there has been in this situation before? I want to move in with him, but after I make some money after college to save up & build up the strength to move out and leave my family/start a whole new chapter 1 hour away from where they live.

*Disclaimer: he is extremely understanding and tells his family “whenever she’s ready” when they ask about me moving in; he isn’t rushing or forcing me in away way.
