Narcissistic mom mad I called her out

So I recently started dated this guy and my mom CONSTANTLY says he looks like Jack Black and insults his appearance. She calls him fat, flat nose, and just constantly calls him ugly to my face. She has always done this about any guy, but it’s gotten crazy worse with him.

Anyway she found out I told him she think he looks like Jack black, he doesn’t know it’s in a mean way, he thinks she’s joking, but it still annoys him, and the entire rest of the family.

Again, he doesn’t now she’s being mean, and I didn’t realize it either when I first told him, I thought she was just teasing.

We have all asked her to stop but she won’t and is convinced it’s just a “me” issue.

She’s now mad because “if this gets serious, your gonna be caught between us two because he’s gonna hate me”

And I’m thinking

So you admit it’s mean and you should stop. Like you know you shouldn’t be saying this, because if you thought it was okay you wouldn’t be mad.

But I said “he won’t hate you, that’s petty. Why would he hate you over something like that.”

And then she walked away, knowing I’m right, and that she needs to stop.

This is an almost 60 year old woman telling her 22 year old daughter she should be able to talk shit to her about her own boyfriend.

UPDATE:

She called me to her room crying saying I disrespected her and was acting like a child and she’s sacrificed so much for me.

And I’m like

I do respect you

But don’t talk shit about my boyfriend.
