Is Barefoot a good brand of wine to bring as a gift?

Barefoot, yellowtail, boxed wines, they are very cheap wines. If you’re going to give a gift to someone, it should be some thing of quality. I usually get wines that are at least $15-$20 sometimes, 30 but at max 40, unless it’s one of those 15 bottle deals that you see advertised, depends on who I’m giving it to. I usually ask for recommendations from people at the liquor store.￼ I do dinner parties a lot on holidays and  usually will go with the $15-$20 a bottle range on average.

No, but I wouldn’t consider gifting anything $30 unless I knew it was their absolute favorite. As a general rule, I don’t gift wine unless I’m sure it’s a bottle they will drink.

I gift it only to people I know love it. Otherwise, it's a cheap wine that isn't something I'd use for a gift. It's not just the price, it's a very mass-produced mixed region wine brand. There are higher quality ones at similar price points.

I worked at a country club and a lot of people didn't like Barefoot when we had it as our house brand. However a lot of people liked Dreamfish? I think that's what its called. Plus the company had something to do with working with autistic kids so it seems like a nicer brand that isn't expensive. I'd look into Dreamfish maybe! I'm not a wine drinker and don't know much, but our bartender and wine enthusiast assistant manager very much recommended it.
