Where should the crib go?

Question

We have a bassinet and hopefully will be able to use that in our room for the first bit. My question is whether I should set the crib up in our room or in the nursery. Would love to hear people’s thoughts/experiences.

We set the crib up in the nursery. I put him down in the crib for naps during the day, or tried to anyway. Then he slept in the bassinet in our bedroom overnight.

We put it in the nursery, but if you're unsure and not using it right away, you don't need to set it up at all, just play it by ear and set it up then
