Is secondary infertility a thing? We took 5 months for our first and then waited over 3 years. We started trying again and it’s been 3 months and no luck. I’m FULLY aware that 3 and 5 months is nothing in the grand scheme of things. It’s just hard when I use BBT, am super regular, and can pinpoint exactly when I ovulate each month but still can’t get pregnant. I just don’t understand how people who don’t want children can get pregnant on one try but then people who truly desire that, can’t... or it takes a really long time.

Anyways, my mom had secondary infertility. There are 9 years between me and my brother and I’m scared I have the same thing. Is it genetic? How does it work?
