Warm winter jackets for toddler boy?

I’m looking to purchase a warm winter jacket for my 2 year old son. I prefer something NT that is car seat safe...so thin. But obviously warm. If it’s something that’s not car seat safe, that’s fine too. I can always buy a lighter jacket for the car.

Use a fleece jacket or hoodie. Put the regular jacket on once you get out of the car

I always put my kids in fleece jackets unless we are literally playing outside. That way it’s warm enough but car seat safe.

We use fleece jackets to go to and from the car, and he has jackets for spending time outside from Columbia and primary. I think the fleece are Patagonia and LLBean.
