Does anyone have any induction stories?

Question

I’m due to be induced on Wednesday (I think with a 24 hour pessary) does anyone have any stories on being induced, how long did it take to go into labour etc? Thanks :)

I was induced with my first and might be induced this time too.
I went in the evening I was 39 weeks and they gave me cervadil at 10pm. At that time I was 2-3cm dilated and 80% effaced.
I started getting mild contractions right away and at around 2/3am my water broke on it’s own. They had to remove the cervidil because of that. I was in full blown active labor by that point so they let me progress naturally. And I got an epidural.
At rounds at 8am or so they did a cervical check and I was fully dilated. Baby was born at 9:35am

Both of my deliveries were inductions and they both were awesome!! 
My first I was induced at 38 weeks because he ran out of room and stopped moving. They did cervadil over night to soften my cervix then at 5:30 am started pitocin. I was 3 cm by 10 am and they broke my water. 5 cm by 2 pm then by 3 pm I was at 10 cm. I pushed for almost 2 hours because he was sunny side up but it wasn’t bad at all. I never even felt a contraction. Labor was just shy of 12 hours. 
My second I was induced at 34+6 weeks with my twins because my preeclampsia turned to heelp syndrome. This time I was already 2 cm dialated so no cervadil. Started pitocin around 2 pm, I wouldn’t let them break my water until midnight to ensure I made it to 35 weeks to avoid the nicu. At midnight I was 5 cm and they broke my water and I was pushing by 12:45 am. This labor was harder because my epidural didn’t work and I had to push out two babies. But still under 12 hours from start to finish!!

Yep! I was induced with my first at 41 weeks. :) They got me on pitocin around 12pm, I was already 2-3cm dilated and had been having regular, low grade contractions 24 hours a day for the previous 6 days. And... Nothing happened, at first. Finally around 10pm that night the contractions started getting serious, and my water broke around 11:30. I took a painkiller they offered and fell asleep, and slept through the rest of labor (I was tired!). I woke up at 2am feeling like I needed to poop... Turns out I was dilated to 10 and ready to push! 1-2 pushes and baby arrived! :) Good luck to you!!

I’ve had 2 inductions. First I was induced at 37+2 for blood pressure. I was 1cm and 70% effaced. I was in labor around 15 hours. They places cytotec inside to soften my cervix. I had 3 doses of that before my contractions kicked in. I was 2cm when I got the epidural and then they broke my water. Started pitocin and had my baby 3 hours later. My second induction was super fast. I went in at 39+3 5cm dilated. Got my epidural and they broke my water and started pitocin. Baby was born 2 hours later. So labor was 4 hours. First baby weight 6 lbs 2 oz and my second was 8 lb 11 oz
