So I’ve had a couple of experiences that i believe were solely by God’s grace happen to me lately and I also believe he was pushing me to attend church, so after researching churches that were non denominational (since I’m just starting to get back into church I didn’t want one with a denomination) this most recent Sunday I went to a church called Calvary chapel by my house. I had visited the website and the reviews online were super positive so I decided to go. I really enjoyed the service and everyone there was super nice and I plan on going back next Sunday. However when I got home i decided to look up more info on it, and it turns out that the church’s beliefs are fundamentalist and evangelical. Which is basically very traditional and they take the Bible as it is. I enjoyed the service and did not sense any type of judgment from them, and my spirit felt so lifted from being at the service, but then I worry because I have family members that are LGBT that I love very much, and I don’t want to hurt their feelings by attending a church that is super traditional. Should I try to look for another church or stay at this one ?
