Anybody have thyroid issues while TTC?😣

We’ve decided to start trying for baby #2 but I recently found out that I have hyperthyroidism, and now I’ve scared myself badly :( I’m hearing that it can cause miscarriages, on top of tons of other health problems in you and your baby. Never had it my first pregnancy, so it must’ve developed later on or after I had her.

Of course I’ll be getting on meds, I’m currently battling my primary doc and OB so that someone can finally get me on something (primary has done nothing, I’ve asked for meds, and he’s a very stone cold man and each time I’ve been- it gets pushed off. Says he’ll call something in, never makes it to the pharmacy *sigh* OB says unless I am pregnant it’s a primary’s “jurisdiction”)

Has anyone been able to successfully conceive before starting meds, and starting them during your pregnancy!?
