Do you know your partners schedule!?

Hi ladies I haven’t been in a relationship in years!!!! & me and this guy just made it official after 3 months of dating the things is.. I never even know what he’s doing. Idk when he goes to work or when he’s off? I only know when I ask what’s he doing or he posts on social media..Is this a thing??? Do you not know your partners schedule? Am I wrong for wanting to know? 
I don’t want to ruin anything so I haven’t brought this up, I’m scared to bring this up because I don’t want to seem needy. I’m not saying I want to know his every move but at least when it comes to work. Or here and there?
Or does this get better over time?

Edit- since we’re JUST starting off, is this normal in the beginning?
Edit pt2- I know he’s off weekends but weekdays I have no idea what he does..
Can you ladies give me suggestions how to bring this up without sounding needy?? Since we just made it official two weeks ago.. thank you

I’ve always known what my husband was doing. Dating, engaged, married. Always. It’s just how it is I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ I knew when he had work, I knew when he had to go away for the army, I knew when he had classes, I knew when he was with friends, I knew when he was with family or just laying at home. Not even because I asked, but we just simply told each other what were up to or let each other know things ahead of time

I've been with my bf for 5 years and when we first started dating I had no idea what his schedule was. I knew he worked M-Sat. But that was it. After a couple months I just asked him. And now he always tells me first if his work schedule changes or what he's doing etc.

Yes. I have to know if there’s something happening. I’m a control freak but it comes from not being able to control anything my dhole life growing up even into early adulthood. I’m working on it.

When my bday and I first started dating we let each other know our work schedules, what time we were off, what days we were off, when we had plans with family or friends so we could coordinate. We did this like the first month we started dating.

My husband and I were long distance when we were dating so if we weren’t in the same town we rarely knew what the other was up to unless we asked or if it was some important that couldn’t be interrupted.

I almost always know what my bfs doing. But I have a friend who prefers relationships that way - where she can just do whatever she wants and go wherever without having to notify the other person. You could talk to him about it and see if he can give you updates more often? People have different expectations in a relationship.

When my husband and I were dating, I’d ask him what his days off were for the week and I’d tell him mine so we could make plans accordingly. He was also in golf at the time so I always knew he would be home shortly after sunset.
