I heard my local health leadership say once at the beginning of the pandemic that there is no reason or evidence to believe pregnant women are at higher risk for a serious case. I have lived blissfully since that day, until today when my sister sent me a link from the CDC where they conducted all these studies and found pregnant women to be 50% higher risk of being hospitalized and now I can’t stop worrying about Covid. I’m looking for pregnant women who have had Covid to share about their experience, since this is something some of us might face. Maybe some positive stories will ease my mind a little bit.
