Can this be stopped?

My parents have a hyper black lab-pit mix who is just a total love bug. However, every time I come over she sits down in front of me and piddles while wagging her tail and whining for pets. She is excited to see everyone who shows up(that she knows), including me, but only piddles for me and my brother. When we first got her I did let her know I wouldn’t tolerate her jumping on me or my kids and made her sit or lay down depending on how hyper she was acting. She just wants to love everyone so badly she just can’t contain it. She listens to me for the majority. But is there a way to stop this? Or is this behavior here to stay?

Don’t give her any attention when she’s hyped up. When you walk through the door don’t even look her in eyes.

My mom’s dogs do this every single time I come over. So I started just ignoring them until everything kind of calms down. Usually after I arrive my mom will let them out for a few minutes and then when they come back in it’s safe to love on them! Or if your mom has a backyard maybe she could let the dog out and you could greet the dog outside so that if she does pee it’s outside.

My brother's dog used to do this, it's a submissive gesture for attention. We found a way to get him to stop by ignoring him. If the dog starts peeing, don't even speak, just turn around and walk away and don't acknowledge anything. Give it a few minutes, then engage again and repeat until the behavior stops. Once the dog realizes that wont get them attention, it should stop. Worked within a few weeks for my brother's dog.

My SIL has a Pomeranian that does this when she sees me. I try not to acknowledge her or get her excited until she’s used to us being there and that usually helps. It’s been 6 years and she’s always done this with me so idk if it can be stopped

Doubtful, what is helpful though is greeting and letting her get excited outside so you don't have to worry about cleaning up a mess. One of my mom's dogs does this, she always let's her out so we can greet her in the grass.

I have one dog who does this. She just gets too excited and can’t control her bladder. So, when we have company over I put her outside to greet anyone so she doesn’t go in the house. Then when she’s calmed a little she can come back in.

That’s not abnormal for dogs to pee a bit when excited . Truthfully not a lot you can do except make he stay away from you till she settles down lol
