Can you have unprotected sex w birth control pills?

I asked my doctor if I could have condomless sex combined with birth control pills and she said yes the pills will protect me from pregnancy but I’ve heard lots of conflicting information so I just want to hear opinions

If STDs aren’t a concern, and ur using the birth control properly, then yes u can go condomless & it’s not considered unprotected as far as pregnancy goes.

If it’s with the same person and you’ve both got tested, then yes it should be okay. 
I’ve never used a condom and I’m on birth control pills. Never had any problems. Just make sure you know when you are most fertile. 
But if you’re hooking up w diff people, I would wear a condom just for safety.

If you are concerned about catching an std or worse then sure. As long as you're taking the pill correct, you are fine.
