Braxton hicks??

im 19 weeks and 1 day. is it normal to get braxton hicks??.sometimes my belly tightens and aches randomly.

Yes I had one this morning. Baby was moving around a ton and then all of sudden my uterus tightened up and became very firm. Was not painful at all though

Yeah apparently this is very common and we can actually get braxton hicks throughout the whole pregnancy but generally don’t start feeling them until second trimester or later. I’ve had them for a few weeks, some days I seem to have a lot of the tightening/pressure feelings then other days don’t notice any at all. Will probably increase further along we go xx

As long as they are inconsistent and don’t come regularly then you are okay! You can bring it up to your OB and they may test for a UTI

Yes, i had a dr appointment at 16 weeks and told my dr what i was feeling and he told me i was experiencing Braxton Hicks.
