Is my daughters hand infected ?

We went to go see my dad for Thanksgiving and his dog bit my daughters hand. I dont know if its infected or if this is normal? 
Her pediatrician is closed s

o any help will do!

I’d take her to an urgent care. It looks like it could be getting infected. My oldest got bit by a cat that roamed the neighborhood. It did get infected and since the cat was a stray, he had to go through a series of rabies shots. Better to be safe than sorry.

That does look like the beginning of an infection. Animal bites need to be treated ALWAYS. They get infected so easily. Just because its not green doesn't mean it's not infected. I know it sucks because they will have to report that the dog bit but your kids need to come first. Is this the first time the dog has bitten someone?

It’s not green so no but it could lead up to one easily I would take her to urgent care make sure to clean it etc ..
