Baby sleeping through the night?

I need suggestions besides cry it out method to help my son sleep through the night. He still is taking like 2oz of milk and waking like 4 times .
He has his own queen size bed on the floor and we just close the door in his room. so when he wakes up I go in there and lay with him and most times go back in my room.

My son who is older didn’t start sleeping through the night until his dad started going in at night instead of me. That helped change up the routine/expectations. He was like 16mo.

Try water instead of milk. Or just cuddles. Id suggest cutting out the feed.

If he’s eating enough during the day he probably just needs help going back to sleep. My son sleeps through the night most days (teething sucks) but when he does get up, I go in and rub his back and shhh until he’s back to sleep. Sometimes it takes longer than other times, but I don’t feed.

She started one wakeup around 4/5 am when she was 2.5/3 months. We have been at 12 hours straight since 6 months. We sleep trained at 4.5 months. We did cio and it was the best decision we have made. It only takes a few tries to get it right. Consistency is key.

We sleep trained. Yep there was crying. But after a few days sleep was so much better. Worth it in my opinion.
