Did any of you guys eat before getting induce?

Question

I’m scheduled for an ultrasound and dr.s visit today to see how the baby is doing, im41+1 today. I’m suppose to go in and as far as I’ve been told my dr. Wasn’t trying to let me go past 41weeks. So I believe today she will induce me. But I was wondering if I should eat or just wait in case she does decide to induce me? What do y’all think?

I ate a TON when I went in to get induced. Once active labour arrives you will definitely feel the benefit, and you’ll need the energy!

I was still allowed to eat while hooked up to the pitocin 🤷 they only made me stop when I got the epidural.

i did but ended up throwing it all back up due to the epidural for my induction.

I ate before getting induced I refused to be hungry while in labor again so before going to the hospital I ate Alfredo

I ate a huge breakfast before getting induced. Now some did come up (I threw up during labor) but most of it stayed down. Thank goodness too because I had no time to eat dinner beforehand

definitely eat. I was able to eat during the cytotec but not once they started the pitocin. Also dinner room service ended at like 8pm.

I was told to eat a big meal before going in for my induction, thankfully I did. I was on a liquid diet once they got started which was stupid because I hadn’t rated in over 24 hours when I started pushing

I ate dinner and then went into labor naturally. Had terrible back labor and was in so much pain I threw everything up. I’m the opposite and will say don’t eat anything or eat super light because that was a miserable experience.

I ate throughout my entire labor until it was time to push lol Definitely eat. You’ll need the strength!
