I am 18 years old and I’ve been in a relationship for a few months now. I got put on Tri-Sprintec almost a month ago and I started it before my period came. I got my period about 11 days ago and I’ve been consistently bleeding since then. The first week of my period It was basically old blood being filtered out, it was mostly brown blood and now it’s super red and I’m just wondering if there’s something wrong with my body or if it’s my body regulating itself on birth control. I’ve been having unprotected sex since Friday and yesterday. But since I’m on birth control I’m hoping that it’s fine. I just want some reassurance that my body is just regulating itself.
