Ovulation cramps?

Can a positive OPK and one sided abdomen cramps be a good indicator that ovulation is taking place?

Answer

Not always. An opk only detects your LH surge. And cramping can occur around ovulation time (prior to, during and even after), but does not always mean an egg was released (your body can make an attempt, but not be able to). You would also have to temp to confirm if/when ovulation has taken place.
