To membrane sweep or not?

I’m not. There’s a risk of your water breaking from the sweep and then there’s a possibility your contractions might not start, and then you have to be induced because your water’s already broken.

I got one earlier today. I had one with my first and went into labor within 12 hours. This time it's only been a few hours and I've had some bleeding and sharp pains so I feel like it's working again. In my opinion it's worth a shot even tho it's uncomfortable.

I’m not considering one until I hit my due week. It is one of the few ways that might actually induce labor, which is why I’m waiting that long. I’ve heard it doesn’t always work and can be pretty painful. I don’t do well with pain, so that’s part of my hesitation

It depends honestly. Doctors usually don’t do it if you test positive for group b strep just FYI I found this out with my last 3 pregnancies and this one.

Iv had them with my last 3 children. My last I actually got an infection from them and my placenta was infected, so I will not be getting it done again this time.
