Withdrawal bleeding ?

Can someone please explain withdrawal bleeding? 6 weeks off bc and the last 5 days i’ve been spotting/ light period. Yesterday I barely filled a small tampon for the whole day and today only blood when I wipe. I thought this was my period but it’s so light! 
Will i have an ovulation window soon? Or do i have to wait for a full period?

Irregular bleeding can be normal especially forst 4-7 months

Withdrawal bleeding usually happens sooner after ending the pill. Its a reaction to stopping the active hormones. I wouldn't call what you had a withdrawal bleed. It may not have been an ovulatory cycle though. You may ovulate soon, or it could be many weeks or months until you do. There is no way to know, unfortunately.
