Is it Baby Hiccups?

I am 31+3 and I believe my baby is having hiccups 1-2 times a day. Im not sure though because of the time in between them. For myself and other adults,  if i get the hiccups, its about 30 seconds between each hiccup. But with the baby it feels more like a rhythmic tapping, about 5 seconds or less between hiccups. Is this how your baby's hiccups feel or should i be concerned this is something else?

I’m 32+ weeks and my baby girl hiccups A LOT and it’s so strong, too. I love feeling her hiccup but then I googled if this was normal because I didn’t feel my son hiccup this much before. I read at 32 weeks the baby should not hiccup so much because it could be a sign of a cord issue? Now I’m a little paranoid. Luckily I have a dr’s appointment tomorrow so I’m gonna ask...

Sounds like hiccups. My son gets them 3-4 times a day. And yes they’re quicker than adult hiccups.
They’re good, it means they’re practice breathing and working out their diaphragm

Wondering the same, I feel the rhythmic tapping also. Feels too fast to be hiccups but maybe baby hiccups are faster? 🤷🏼‍♀️
