Help!!

My baby was born Thursday so she’s not even a week old yet and has nursed really well from the beginning

Today, I think by her behavior, she’s been trying to latch but not really interested in the actual milk. She latches on and then starts crying like very frustrated crying.

My question is: if baby is overtired and needs breast but not milk would this be the time to introduce a pacifier?

I always read that it’s best not to until breastfeeding is well established and I think it is but I feel like it’s so soon. Please help.
