As long as you’ve worked the required 12 months yep, I got pregnant after being at my job for 4 months and I had 0 issues.

FMLA is the federal job protection. You have to work 12 months to qualify, that’s full time, longer if part time. 
Your state may have some job protections available that require less than 12 month employment. I think my state is 6 months. 
Also keep in mind that most companies award leave based on hours worked so maternity leave would not be covered if you only worked for 9 months unless you are with an incredibly generous company. 
I’ve been at my current position 18 months and only have about 300 hours saved so far. In order to have 12 weeks of maternity leave at full pay I have to have a minimum of 480 hours.
