My son is almost 4. I never retracted his foreskin but a few months ago he did himself for the first time and it bled a little because I assume he tore the adhesions a little. Since then I have had him retract it himself while in the shower(bathes every other day) and rinse it off, no soap. Well today he was itching it through his pants and I asked if it was ok. He said it hurt a little and showed me, pulling the skin back. It didn't look inflamed and no discharge but the smell was terrible. He is due for a shower tonight(we don't have a bathtub). Any suggestions?
