Is it lonely living on your own?

Also asking single parents with no other adult living with you. 
Why?

I lived alone for like 4 years. It was wonderful. So much privacy, things get done when you want them to get done. You get to decide when you want to be social. If you’re just having a blah day and want to lay around in a robe all day nobody is there to care, or to judge you. And then when you want to see people you don’t have to run it by a roommate or whatever, you can just do whatever you want whenever you want.

Honestly I would love to live alone, my mother lives with me and my brother lives in my basement who has mental issues, between the two of them neither one does a thing around the house, it is a constant fight of putting toilet paper on the role and replacing things are telling me when something is needed in the house, I honestly wished I lived alone. I love silence, I love privacy, I love being able to sleep without someone snoring or talking in their sleep etc. my brother goes up and down the stairs 40 times a night, my mother I had to sleep next to her For several years after she had a stroke, trust me between the loud TV, her snoring, talking in her sleep, get me this, get me that,￼ Even after she fully recovered, I would love to live alone, but if I lived alone I would definitely get a security system, locks and sensors on all of the windows and doors, multiple locks on the doors because if you live alone obviously you’re a target for getting robbed, getting followed home, bad exes etc. Always keep your money in the bank, just in case you do get robbed, they don’t take your savings..

I would think Sometimes. I don’t live by myself, but some days when I’m home alone all by myself I like it, and other times I’m lonely until someone comes home.
