Dating ultrasounds- anyone in Canada getting them?

Question

Just curious- I have my first appt with the OB the first week of January, and I’m pretty sure he’ll do an ultrasound, but no one has sent me for a dating ultrasound yet. I did with my first, but that might have been because I had a miscarriage the cycle before and wasn’t sure when we conceived.

For my first couple pregnancies they weren’t going to do ultrasound for me until 12 weeks. Ended up with miscarriages. For my 3rd I had a couple ultrasounds due to my past, that ended in mc too. With my daughter I had ones at 7ish weeks, 10, 12, and 20. 
Now pregnant with my (I guess 5th pregnancy) and I’m not having one until 8 weeks but that would be due to my history. If I didn’t have miscarriages first one would prob be 12 week. However it depends who you see for a doctor where I’m from. Most GP’s won’t do sooner than 12. OB’s seem to send you sooner.

I'm in Alberta and my family doctor gave me a requisite for 3 ultrasounds: 8 weeks - dating, 12 weeks - nuchal translucency and 18 weeks - anatomy

I’m in Canada , they aren’t doing dating ultrasounds right now because of COVID for us and because I’m considered healthy/young I don’t have my first until 18-20 weeks

Yes you should be getting one usually around 8 weeks.

I’m in southwestern Ontario, I had a dating ultrasound at 8 weeks, I have two more booked for 12 & 18 weeks that they booked when I went for the dating ultrasound.

I’m in Alberta and I had a 8 week booked and then we booked a 12 and 18 week one following it with the ultrasound check.  I am now waiting to get into my doctor cause she was isolating so hopefully soon!!

I’m in Ontario. I’m booked for my first next week.  I’ll be just over 9 weeks. I think.  I also have my 12 week booked as well.
