Hiccups?

Question

Just wondering if it’s normal for babies to have hiccups in the womb? I’m 35 weeks with an anterior placenta and all of a sudden I can feel Bub have hiccups. It’s normally once or twice a day at least. I’ve googled it which was a dumb idea (as it gives you worse possible cases I.e cord compression) 
Any other mummas experienced this?

Hiccups are common and a sign that baby is practicing breathing. All good!

Totally normal. I also have an anterior placenta and my baby is currently hiccuping as I’m typing this

Having hiccups is actually a good sign as they are caused by practice breathing 😊 we get hiccups at least twice a day over here 🙋🏼‍♀️

I'm almost 34 weeks and I'm having the same thing, baby will hiccup multiple times a day. I told my doctor and she said that it's fine. I googled and saw the cord thing as well. I had an ultrasound done due to me being high risk with gd and baby and cord were fine.

I’m 33 weeks and I have the same situation, anterior placenta and started feeling them sometimes 3 times a day! I googled also (dumb of me) and asked my OB yesterday at my appointment and she said it is no concern at all, just mean baby will probably be very hiccupy out of the womb as well!

I’m 35wks as well and also can feel little one when it comes to the hiccups. I also made the mistake of googling it as well and didn’t like what I read, but I will mention it to my dr tomorrow morning.
