How to remove sharpie stains from my car?!! HELP

So my nephew grabbed a sharpie the other day and began practicing writing his name on the middle seat glove box of my car 🥲 how do I remove it?? It’s like plastic vinyl material so idk what to use. I’ve already tried alcohol and it doesn’t work.

Have you tried hairspray or otherwise white board marker over the top works too.

Mr. clean magic eraser was my best friend with any sort of marker/pen/crayon/etc when I worked in kids libraries. They tend to tale most stuff off. Purell specifically also tends to do better than just rubbing alcohol. My sister is a 2nd grade teacher and says cheap toothpaste and nail polish remover both work. She gets like aquafresh or pepsident...kike the super cheap toothpaste most people don't buy haha. We have also used barbasol shave cream. Rub into a lather and rub in circles and it works on some surfaces. Magic eraser would be my first try though. Those things get everything off.
