Anyone else??

My 16mth old will only eat things whole. I thought she had suddenly started to dislike banana turns out she just doesn't want it cut up. Same with apples there are only acceptable in quarters any smaller she wont eat them.

Yes,  same here. She prefers big chunks where she can grab. My In-laws still give her tiny things and mashed food for choking hazards, drives me nuts

Okay tell me more! My girl is doing this too and I am trying to offer her "whole" pieces but she crams so much into her mouth and chokes. She's able to gag it up but meal time is STRESSFUL right now. She also only wants brown food or fruit. So bread, chicken, pinto beans and then any color fruit.

We are the same. It drives me nuts because my mil won’t listen not to cut stuff and come over and wastes a bunch of food thinking she knows better than mom. My daughter refuses stuff cut and throws it all over my floor so mil leaves me with a dirty floor too.

Yes same with my little guy! He was throwing all the pieces of food I would cut up for him & one day I just gave things to him whole and he finally had an interest in it lol
