Compliments in marriage

How often does your spouse compliment you? Specifically on appearance? I don't remember the last time my husband said I was sexy or beautiful. I just kind of realized that today. I don't know what changed, or what happened. I tell him he is handsome, looks nice or looks sexy. He will barely respond. Or he'll say something like "whatever you say." Is it selfish to want him to compliment me? I've been working super hard on health and fitness this year. Eating healthy, working out. It's really boosted my confidence, but he doesn't comment. My boobs and butt have gotten smaller from losing weight and I worry he's not commenting because he doesn't like the new me. But I now look how I did when we got married so that doesn't make sense. It's kinda been a hit to my self confidence that my own husband doesn't even try to make me feel appreciated.
