What type of art do you buy and where do you get it?

I’m a new artist and trying to expand my business. Curious to where you buy handmade art such as jewelry, photos, painting, etc.?

I tend to buy art second hand from thrift stores and antique malls.. I love handmade art even if it isn’t mine.

Honestly I just make my own. I am pretty bad at painting and just ok at making jewelry, but I like doing it so I just keep what I make

I purchase most of my art on Etsy.

Pre-covid, there was a breakfast restaurant that would feature local artists in all their walls and they would rotate pretty frequently, so we loved checking it out. We only bought off the actual wall once, two small paintings, because we were looking for something specific, but I know we're not the only ones who've purchased - they frequently have bare spots where art has been sold. 
Around us, that's common, coffee shops, boutiques that share space, or aisle space at the Arcade building. I personally prefer to buy functional pieces (furniture, pottery, jewelry, etc) rather than wall art, but that's because we have so many personal things to put on the walls already generally speaking.
