STUCK TAMPON

Question

I was laying in bed and I know I was wearing a tampon because it was bothering me and hurting a little so I tried to readjust it while laying down. Anyways I went to go pee a little while later and when I tried taking it out I couldn’t find it! I know I was wearing one the whole time and now it’s not there! it couldn’t have fallen out since I was wearing tight shorts. I’m scared it’s inside me! I fingered myself as much as I could to check if it’s there but I can’t feel anything. I could even feel my cervix but nothing :/ I can’t find the string and I can’t feel anything inside my vagina but it didn’t fall out so WHERE IS IT 😭😭😭😭😭

A tampon can't get lost inside you or get up through your cervix. If you felt around as far as your cervix & definitely couldn't feel it, did you either forget to put one in or forgot you took it out? If you're sure there's one stuck, go & get it checked out as soon as you can.

If you don’t feel it it probably slipped out  if you didn’t put it in right that’s happened to me because we put it wrong and if your period is a bit heavy flow it can slip out on its own. Good luck 👍🏼

Don’t worry too much. The tampon will come out on its own eventually. 
A similar situation happened to me, except that I forgot I already had one in and then put another one in. When u pulled the new one out later, the old one slid out with it.
