COVID vaccine??

I’m a teacher and worried about being mandated to get the vaccine...esp right now.. any thoughts?

I will be choosing another career before anyone forces this vaccine on me. No thanks. My salary ain’t cutting it for that

I’m a teacher as well who just recovered from Covid. I wish I would have been able to get the vaccine before getting as violently ill as I did. Maybe I wouldn’t have had 8 straight days of feeling like I was dying, and I was a mild case. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Talk to your doctor.  Don’t get advice from Dr. Google (I know, I’m making this suggestion through the internet)
I work in healthcare and Covid is no joke.  I’ve seen a lot of people get sick; I’ve seen nurses have breakdowns over losing so many patients
The vaccine won’t be right for everyone, but talk to a professional in healthcare before deciding.
I plan on taking it if I can (I have a mast cell disorder and might not be allowed to take the Pfizer vaccine due to anaphylaxis risk)
Remember there aren’t just two buckets; “get Covid and die” or “get Covid and recover and be 100% fine”
A LOT of people who survive Covid are showing signs of significant disability; blood clots, impaired heart and lung function etc.  these issues may become permanent for some people  
Please just talk to a doctor and listen with an open mind.

They have advised if trying for a baby or pregnant then advised not to have it. I don’t think they will get to teachers for a good 6 months and more so I’d crack on.

I work for a hospital.  We recently were informed that the vaccine will be optional.  Hope it’s the same for teachers so that you can do what you’re most comfortable with!

I would never get this vaccine! First of all it says it’s immunity is only for two months so what’s the point. Secondly there has not been enough research on this. Thirdly you know it can’t be that safe when politicians are “receiving” the vaccine live on tv yet the cap is still on the syringe when they do it or the syringe was already empty.
