What age did you first get into a relationship?

I’m going to be 17 in two weeks. Everyone my age is starting to have sex and be in serious relationships and I’ve never even kissed a boy, never even held hands with a boy ext.
It makes me so insecure. I don’t think I’m ugly, I’ve had guys interested in me but I’ve never felt anything towards them. I’m afraid I’m never going to know what it’s like to be in a relationship/in love.
Corona has really screwed up my social life so I don’t see it changing any time soon either. 
Have any of you guys felt the same way?

Girl be patient trust me. My friends started having sex and doing drugs etc before the age of 16. I was the innocent one of the group and i hated it to the point where i’d constantly look for a guy to talk to which never worked out. I grew very impatient since ALL my friends lost their virginity and were in relationships. I’m currently a senior and about to turn 18 i got into my first relationship in july by being patient and waiting for my time. He’s my first everything, first kiss, first love, first person to see and touch my body, etc. Just be patient, don’t lose your virginity to someone you don’t trust or love and don’t go looking for love in the end you’re just gonna hurt yourself.

I get the pressure of having to keep up with everyone else
 but don’t feel that you need to rush anything...
nothing is wrong with having relationships but I don’t plan on ever hooking up with anyone in high school just cause from friends experiences that crap has you emotionally tied up 
so don’t do it unless YOU are really ready￼
The insecurity will wear off but if it’s not your own gut and intuition telling you to do so… It’s probably not a decision we should be making￼ or even considering 😘
I bet you if you ask some of those friends and people you know of that are hooking up if they ever regretted it or simply why they did it... 🤷🏽‍♀️
I can guarantee you it was definitely influenced from the insecurity and feeling of being loved or belonging but that won’t give you that... not all the time at least...it might even bring more negativity into your life than value 
YES you can do what you want and enjoy your sexuality but do it on YOUR terms not other people’s choices... know your worth and make your own decisions :)

I was 15 but that’s definitely not everyone’s experience! My brother just got into his first relationship recently and he turned 20 last week. A lot of people I graduated high school with also purposely waited until after they graduated to date. And it’s easy to think everyone else is doing it but there’s so many people your age who haven’t been in a relationship either. It’s better to wait for someone you really want to be with than to be in a relationship just for the sake of it

I didn’t meet my partner till 3 months before my 18th birthday and even then didn’t start dating till a week before I turned 18. Your special someone is out there. Just enjoy being single and they will come.
