I don’t know anyone with this name but I like it. And I’m not sure where people are getting that it might be an alternate spelling of the name Ian....EE-in and EE-on are totally different names to me lol

I would pronounce Eon the same you would the unit of time, definitely not like Ian. So I disagree with others in that regard. 
I can’t decide how I feel about the name though. I either love it or hate it, but not sure which haha
