I don’t remember ever believing Santa was real, but I was also the kindergartner at Sunday school thinking “Yeah, okay people.”

I was so young I don’t remember ever really believing but I know when I was 3-4 I did. My family never really made it special though. My daughter on the other hand is almost 9 and still a believer! But she did say the other day “you know even if Santa wasn’t real and it was the parents who give gifts (which I don’t believe) that’s not what’s important about Christmas anyways. It’s the traditions and time with your family that matters!” 🥺 she melted my heart

Christmas lost its joy the year my dad left, he came over to spend Christmas with us regardless and he was treated like garbage by my aunt and them. I'll never forget him standing in the middle of the room being ignored by all the adults. I was 11 that year. I think I had stopped believing that year.

I was 10 on Christmas Day when I got this unicorn stuffed animal my mom had given me and I saw a barcode sticker from Toys “R” Us. When I asked her about it she looked at me and said what do you want me to tell you lol ￼

I was 8. I was watching TV with my dad and a Walmart commercial came on. It was around Easter so it said something about buying basket stuffers for your kids and totally ruined the Easter Bunny for me. I turned around and asked him about the Easter Bunny and he was just honest. Then I figured out Santa and the Tooth Fairy in the same moment😂
