For those who both breastfeed and supplement with formula, when did your period return?

Feel free to comment with your experiences with previous children!
Mine hasn’t returned yet even though my baby is over 4 months and about 3/4 of his diet is formula these days. I know it’s not abnormal for it to take this long, especially since I am breastfeeding some still, but I’m curious.

I am in your same exact boat!  Well, he might get even a little more formula to breast milk ratio, but basically I am supplementing with breast milk rather than the reverse!  I’m so surprised I haven’t gotten my period because it feels like he’s barely getting any, even though I put him at the breast 5 times a day with all his formula feedings (my lactation consultant recommended that and I’ve kept with it ever since he was 4 weeks).  I even did a pregnancy test just to be sure, but nada.  I’m very surprised it hasn’t returned yet.

i’ve been BF and supplementing since day 1 and i got back a light period 6 weeks in, and then a full very heavy one around 13 weeks. it sucked.  i’m dreading my next one.
