I am curious how come some women didnt know they were pregnant until they give birth?

You should watch on YouTube Mama Doctor Jones reaction videos to the TLC series I didn't know I was pregnant. Very entertaining and informative! For many it's a medical condition like PCOS or they were told by their doctor it would be very difficult to get pregnant due to their medication and the women interpret that as "can't" so they have unprotected sex.

Usually there is an underlaying condition or hormonal bc that causes no period so when they get pregnant they already aren’t having a cycle and don’t suspect it

There is something called a cryptic pregnancy where the baby can tell the mom isn’t ready to know/find out etc and it can hide itself to where there is no symptoms etc and it can grow at a slower pace. Plus some people still have their periods.

i found out at 18 weeks. i suffer from PCOS, so a late period wasn’t alarming. i also suffer from acid reflux and have gastro issues so i didn’t know my constant heart burn and throwing up all the time was morning sickness... to me, it was normal. i didn’t gain much weight and only had a little pudge by 18 weeks... so for fun (since it was mother’s day), my fiancé and i bought a pregnancy test joking that there’s no way i’d be pregnant bc of my PCOS... and BAM... we got a positive. i also bled during those 18 weeks but lightly so i just thought my period was being wonky.

I still bled monthly, I didn't gain any weight, didnt experience any pain or discomfort, legit went to the Dr for a health exam to compete in a worldwide gymnastics competition.  
They called later that evening to tell me I was either VERY pregnant... or carrying multiples but I was definitely pregnant. I was almost 7 months 😳

I went to school that was very physical, lost alot of weight. Gained alot of muscle. Id been on BC until I left for school. One thats supposed to stop ovulation. I had no reason to believe I was pregnant. I lost the baby at 18 weeks. With my twins we found the reason I lost so much weight. Graves disease. I barely showed with my twins. No one believed I was 32 pregnant when I had them. I measured really small. I went from starting at 240 to 190 right before delivery. The only reason I suspected anything is because I noticed thing 20y old me passed off as normal because id gotten pregnant yet again while on that BC.
