Fat baby ?

So today after church,  this super nice eldery lady was a little concerned about my baby girl. She said that she's little to chubby like on the fatter side and it might not be to healthy for her. I honestly am not upset with this lady at all it just got me thinking that maybe it's true. Just want to know how much all yours babies weigh. Baby girl is 8 months and about 21 or 22 lbs. Picture of my boy and my baby girl. She is on the cubbier side looks like a tiny sumo wrestler lol 😆  undressed just want to know your opinion 🥰😊 thanks

Your doctor would tell you if there was a concern about baby’s weight. Our 4mo old 15lbs. She’s a chunk but only 77%ile (95%ile for length though).

My son was 26 lbs at 9 months. She’s perfectly healthy. Once they start moving around more, they thin out. I would t worry about her weight being too high until she gets a little older if that’s even the case.

Nahhh chunky babies are the best babies. My girl weighed in at 22 lbs at 8 months. Looking back at the pictures she was so full and round. Then once she started crawling all her baby fat was gone in just 2 weeks! It’s so sad. I miss those chunky rolls!

My daughter’s pediatrician always said “we love chunky babies!” My daughter was pretty average in weight, but had rolls for days. It usually means they’re really healthy. She’s 2.5 now and getting skinnier everyday (as expected as she gets older). You can ask your pediatrician if you’re concerned, but she’s probably fine!

Babies come in all shapes and sizes. My 6 month old was 25 lbs and man I was damn proud of his fatness. Cutest baby cheeks and rolls for days! I miss it! He’s is a very tall and lean but sturdy 3year old now, no longer chubby. Healthy as can be. Your baby girl is perfect and and adorable!

My 8m old is 24 lbs. Hes fine. They are mostly having breast milk or formula at this point. I mean unless your feeding her junk food, the only thing you really could do would be let her go hungry, which is obviously not an option. It’s probably just how she is and not a concern at all. Once she’s walking she will burn additional calories and slim out.

Chunky babies have a health advantage in my opinion because they have a buffer for when they get sick, fall down, get cold, and go on feeding strikes because of teething or other discomforts.  My first was always so skinny and still is even though she eats well and i always stressed about until I just accepted it's how she is.  My second is already chunkier and I'm so relieved even though I know my MIL will make comments....

My 2 month old is already 15 pounds. He isn’t fat and the doctor said he is well proportioned. The doctor will tell you if there is a concern. If they haven’t mentioned it, then I wouldn’t worry! You have beautiful kids. Some kids just have chunky cheeks and they are all adorable!
