Bottle weaning

do

So busy time of year coupled with cutting 6 teeth AND sleep regression has made weaning from the bottle a nightmare.

I had my son down to 2 bottles a day and only 1 formula (explain that in a bit)

He has been eating well and is still eating well but hes gone back to wanting more bottles mostly at night.

Before the night time walking started I had him down to ,like I said, two bottles a day with formula before bed. Didnt matter how much he ate for dinner of we gave him whole milk he would wake in the night.

But now he has started waking in the night for more bottles. Usually just once but I'm trying to stop them not add more. I suspect hes going through a growth spurt as well bc he is always hungry. I feed him on demand so hes definitely getting his fill. I've tried calming him and putting him back to bed. Tried letting him cry but unless you feed him he will not go back to sleep.

He doesnt fall asleep to the bottle either.

Ugh I'm just frustrated a little with the set back but i know it'll get easier

Update: I think what I'm going to do is instead of nixing the number of times he wants a "bottle" ( milk in a bottle) I'm going to still offer him the milk but only in a sippy cup. Might still offer a bedtime bottle but thatll be it. Even if he wakes in the night he will be given a sippy cup.

Wish me luck
