When is your second ultrasound scheduled for?

Had my ultra sound at 7 w 1 day. Everything looked good. My next ultra sound is scheduled for December 30 (4 weeks after 1st US). Is this normal? Feels like such a long time to wait!

I get my first 10-12 weeks (dec 12) second at 20weeks and third at I think 36weeks. My office isn’t doing first scans before then unless there are issues 😕last baby I had my first scan at 6weeks so this feels like forever!!! But that’s the standard practice post covid for my area unless I want to pay full out of pocket at speciality practice

The had mine at 7 weeks. Will have my second at 11 weeks. So 4 weeks is about normal. Then won’t have another until the anatomy scan.

When I was pregnant with my son, I only had my technically first one at 7+5 (I had one at 5/6 weeks because I was spotting) and then I didn’t have another one at my doctors office. I had the NT sonogram done around 13 weeks, Anatomy scan at 19 weeks and that was all I had. I wish my doctors office did more!

My next one is 6 weeks after my first so the first was the 26th of November and my second (so 12 week) is the 5th of Jan 💓

Unless there’s any reason for one, I probably won’t get another until my 20 week anatomy scan. I’ll probably pay to get an early gender scan around 16 weeks though.

First was at 6w3d (was supposed to be 7w but I had some spotting so they moved it up). Will have another at 12 weeks for nuchal translucency.

Yes, normal. Mine are also once a month. It’s so hard to wait!!
