If a water line breaks and ruined the cabinet who’s responsible.

Tenant or landlord.

Back story supply line , they shut the water off but damage was already done and cabinet and and floor are soak and starting to smell. This happened over a 3 days period. Sat leak started they shut water off . Sunday it just say there . Monday they fixed the leak. But said they didn’t know if my cabinets would be replaced . When I say it’s bad I still have standing water and my cabinet is coming apart. Now I’m fighting with my landlord . Our local housing said I have to give them 30 days written notice to fix which I already did this afternoon.

So in your oppinion who’s responsible .
