Milk intolerance

What were your baby’s symptoms of a milk intolerance (not to be confused with milk allergy)?

Pediatrician put me on a dairy free diet because our almost 6 week old is very gassy and always seems uncomfortable. Mylicon and gripe do nothing. Probiotic drops do nothing.

Other than gas (especially at night), her farts smell SO bad. Like I feel like our house reeks of rotten eggs lol. Also, her poop (which doesn’t happen daily), is a thicker consistency that seems a little stretchy.
