Should I get an IUD?

Hi everyone, so I began dating by boyfriend 6 months ago and everything is going well as well as the sex. We always keep it safe and have actually always used a condom every time; because we both are very paranoid about making sure there is no possibility of getting pregnant. So I been thinking on getting on birth control and possibly an iud because I think it will work better for me since it last for a long time. Anyways can you guys help me out about finding more about like, if any of you are on it how has it worked for you. Should I be worried about something? Does it hurt like a lot ? Or is worth it ?

personally i know someone who had their knocked out of place so i don’t trust it i have the nexplanon in my arm and so far i like it a lot
i tried tons of pills previously and they all made me sick or moody so far i’ve had no side affects from this

I had my IUD for 5 years, my bf at the time would cum in me, I never had an issues with it, never had an pregnancy scares. I will say it hurts going in, but it is worth it, especially if you are going to keep it in for a while.

No don’t do it. I got one and I got it taken out after 3 months. I cried almost everyday. It hurt so bad. I bleed for 3 months straight. Couldn’t have sex because it hurt so much and he could feel it. Never would do it again. The cramps hurt so much worse too.
