HELP. Baby swing broke 😩 is it worth buying a new one?

Help! FTM, and our hand-me-down baby swing just crapped out and I’m struggling to decide if it’s worth buying a new one. My LO is 10 weeks old and weighed 13lbs at his 2 month appointment. I don’t know how long a baby even uses a swing. I mainly use it for short naps during the day or keeping him occupied while I make a bottle or take a quick bathroom break 😂 but that’s EVERY DAY. It has saved my sanity, I just don’t know how much longer he’ll be able to use one, and I know they’re not cheap.
So, I need help. Is it worth buying a new one? If it is, any recommendations??? 😁

See if you can find a slightly used one on Offer Up, eBay, or even a secondhand store like Once Upon a Child.

Thanks you ladies! He was very fussy after the swing broke, so I tried entertaining him and having him nap elsewhere but he wasn’t having it. He gets in moods and wants the swing or to lay on his play gym, but he KNOWS what he wants 😂 so, we bought a swing. And he’s been content every time I’ve put him in it today, so it was a good purchase. Thanks for the help! 😊

Mines almost 9m and uses his daily. It was $50 used from a friend. Didn’t buy it until he was 6m old. Haven’t regretted it for a moment.

Man I wish I could help I have an abundance of swings but my son hates them x.x since the cats we have love to snuggle them and rock him

I used it for the first 4 months personally if you don’t use it very often and have other places to lay baby safely then I wouldn’t say it’s necessary to get another.

If your baby Like it and uses often then I’d buy another one. My baby doesn’t care for her swing but if her bouncer broke I’d definitely have to buy another one lol

I have this swing and it says good until 25 pounds and for use newborn to 1 year. I’d definitely want one since I know I put him in there constantly! Maybe you can find one on OfferUp for cheaper?

My girl stopped using hers by week 12/13. So unless you can find a really cheap used one, I would make do without it.
