When to announce ?

When is it a good time to announce our first baby? 
Currently 4-5weeks according to this test

Literally whenever it feels right to you! We announced at 5 ish weeks to our families because we were just too excited not to share the news. Plus if something tragic had happened and I had lost the baby, I would have wanted a support group to help me through it.

Congratulations! ❤️ I’ve heard somewhere between 12-13 weeks is ideal. 
I’m currently 9 weeks. I told my parents at 4 weeks (when I found out - I just couldn’t wait!), and my in laws, siblings, and boss at 8 weeks (mostly because I may need to take time off work if I don’t feel well). I’m waiting a little longer to make a public announcement. ☺️

It’s up to you! A lot of women wait until they hit the second trimester because risk of miscarriage is highest in the first trimester. Some women tell their families right away and wait to announce publicly until the second trimester and others announce to the world right away!
There are pros and cons to each option so you just go have to weigh them and decide what’s best for you. A lot it comes down to what would happen if god forbid you had a miscarriage. If you announce publicly now and miscarry in a couple weeks you’ll have to announce that pretty publicly too and that can be really heartbreaking during an already terrible time. On the flip side, if you do happen to miscarry, you’ll have the support and love of all those you’ve told while you go through that incredibly difficult time.
For me we’re waiting until my next appointment to tell our parents, I’ll be almost 11 weeks at that point. Then we’ll announce publicly at 13 weeks. I’ve had two previous losses so we’ve been very cautious.
